    Yup, called Leadville USFS office today to confirm, open almost all the way from the Leadville side, but still gated and impassable from Alma. Anyone have any other ideas for fun trails to get from Denver to Aspen spending as little time of pavement as possible?

    I'm tentative for redcone.. Kinda depends on where we meet/start as well

    For Red Cone, TD suggests to meet in Conifer on Highway 285 at the Bradley gas station. Looks to be about an hour from the trailhead.

    9:30 too early for you all? I'll probably find a spot to camp in / around Conifer tonight.

    Take Highway 285 from Denver past Grant, then turn right on County Road 60. You will see signs to both Webster Pass and Red Cone at just over 5 miles. Turn right here and follow forest service road 565 to the top.

    Sorry I gotta bail on red cone. I was hoping to have my sliders on last weekend, and then sometime this week, now still nothing.

    Another friend is going to bill moore and didn't want to go alone. We're gonna head up around 9:30. PM me if there's any last minute takers. I know there's already a bunch of runs going on tomorrow.
