Depending on how you want them oriented, magnets might be your best bet

Tape and coat hangers to rig it so you can tack

It's the roof tubes. The top ones that go over driver and passenger. They all interconnect. Have then notched. I can tack the b cross over in place and slide the A cross over at the window down. Maybe try to use masking tape. I have electrical wire holding the other stuff.SOLO-RANGER-CAB-CAGE.jpg

Magnets disrupt the arc!Not a good idea! Can make for it to be impossible to weld!It can be done but the magnet or magnets must be spread apart within a certain amount inches to where there actually of minimal help or not help at all.

Awesome good to know Ron. My magnet can't work for the cage anyways. Too weird to work with. Looks like it's going to be solid strand electrical wire and painters tape.

That will work and i've done similar before! You could also tack a piece of coat hanger from piece to piece, tack together your beveled tubes then remove the coat hanger!

So I just ordered a Fumoto Drain vlv for my oil pan to have easier access to draining my oil with my Pelfrey skid and the delivery date is July 29. Amazon, what's your deal? You're saying my hi lift will be here tomorrow but my teeny lil vlv takes 3 weeks? Ah well, se la vie. It's all free anyhow thanks to some lucky play at poker the other night.
