This product is supposed to enhance white painted vehicles. Is this hype and what should I do to a 2011 white Rav4 that probably hasn't been waxed at all since 2014?

    Wash
    Clay
Polish-need to use a DA polisher?
    Seal

Amazing stuff. But labor intensive. Haven't put it on my truck since it won't stay clean. LOL

Also don't have a driveway or a hose... (apartment living)

    Here's what I would recommend:

    Wash
    Clay
    Polish
    Glaze
    Sealant
    Wax

Use this and it doesn't matter what wax you use because your truck will shine like nothing else!

Basically any wax that is color specific has fillers in it.

I'll add-- those fillers may not be "color" specific-- like Meguiars Black and White waxes. The difference between those two is that the white has more cut and less polishing oils (filler), the black has more polishing oils (filler) and less cut. Either wax may be used on any color of vehicle.

Megs white wax actually has a fair amount of cut and cleans up any color of vehicles very nicely if one is interested in an all in one product. Durability isn't the best. But for the op, I'd encourage a two step process.

For a daily driver, I'd skip the glaze to ensure that the sealant has a clean surface to adhere to (for best product durability).

Zaino itself. They have different products for different tasks. But they are likely the best "wax" product on the market. It just takes a lot of time and detail to use it properly. Take a look at some of the testimonial photos they have. Used to have a Z28 Camaro that survived 9/11 that had been covered in hot ash. Amazing before/after.

If you want to polish, I would get a DA polisher. You can attempt to do it by hand but you'll never get anywhere. A 2011 is more than likely going to have a decent amount of swirls and microscratches that need correction. You just won't be able to accomplish by hand.

If perfect paint correction is your goal, go with a DA polisher. If you really don't care to have this thing looking like a show car (or just a very very nice looking car) then don't worry about the polishing step and move on to a sealant and wax.

You more than likely will be looking at a two step paint correction polish too. Step 1 with a heavy pad and compound and step 2 with a finishing compound. Again, depends on what you want your end result to be and how much effort you want to put into it. A wash, clay, polish, sealant, and wax takes me about 8 hours.
