No problem! Now I just need to swap out the 10A fuse for a 3A. I started with a 10A not knowing how much it would pull.

I payed 2800 after tax for 100xl in ontario a few months ago right before the price went up 12% because our dollar is shit and its coming from the states. Or something like that. So that seems about right. Theyre so expensive here.. one thing I regret is NOT getting windoors :(

Guy is wanting 500 for it, all I know about it is that it is a Leer. Worth the buy? I think this is a steal..00000_9Xi8JERZec5_1200x900.jpg

Hard to tell from the single picture with poor lighting.

No front slider is clear, but need to see the side windows more clearly (sliders, or 1/4- or full-length pop out will help quickly identify the specific model). After that are there any interior options: carpet lining, lights, nets, automatic door lock, etc.

My guess it is it a 100R, which is pretty basic.

Age is also a factor. What year is it? Older caps suffer from aging seals. gas props, etc. and may need replacement parts and TLC.

If you get that info, you can call a Leer dealer and get a quote for that spec and then make an educated decision.

Edit: if you get the serial number you can get full spec from a dealer or Leer directly.

Getting caught up on this great thread...

I've worried about that, but mine has never moved in 4 years now. I have the double bulb seal... Clamps stay tight...

Something looks a little off to me. Maybe it's just the angle, but why can you see what appears to be the concrete garage floor through the front window on the lower left hand side? Shouldn't you at least be able to see some of the inside "shelf" that attaches to the bed rail? I don't know, maybe it's just the angle, looks semi photo shopped, you would think even at that angle the left portion of the front window would be dark simply from the shadowing of the interior passenger side front corner, I mean look how "pitch black" the other window is

Has anyone else here seen their mileage improve after adding a bed cap? I drove from Cincinnati to GA to Hilton Head, SC back to Cincy and my mpg is noticeably better.

Me too...previously I'd refill near "E" at 280 miles on the odometer. Now I'm pushing 320.
