Just joined today and got distracted from tacoma talk by the beer thread. You can usually find a variety IPA's in my fridge. My goto beers at the moment are Payette brewing Rodeo Rye Pale Ale and Alaska Brewing kicker session IPA. Both are great for hot summer days.

So, how was it?!?! I came really close to picking this up today. I went with an Evil Twin Wet Dream (brown coffee ale - expecting better) and a New Holland Night Tripper (imperial stout - 11.5% deliciousness)

It's good man. Everything Founders seems to be amazing but the coffee flavor is very strong (which I like in a coffee ale). And I haven't had an imperial brown before. It was tasty.

Feel free to tell me to piss off, but as a giant beer nerd I feel the need to provide you with the following information.
To ensure optimal flavor of many great beers like this, don't keep your glassware in the freezer. It will pick up all the aromas/scents/whatever is in your fridge and contaminate your beer. Keep them stored with other glass and give it a rinse with water before pouring. Also, the fizzy looking bubbles on the side of the glass mean it's not fully clean, as particles are catching on to the dirt in there.

With that being said however, I am jealous of the 90 minute, I have yet to be able to get one.

Nice! I'll have to grab that next time. I have really liked everything I have had from Founders. Their Breakfast Stout is definitely one of my favorites.

I was expecting a little more coffee in the Evil Twin coffee brown. It actually tasted more hoppy than coffee to me... Kinda unusual for a brown ale. Not impressed, especially at $11 for a 4 pack.

I know it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks, but in my 20yrs of craft drinking I never heard this. The only thing I keep in my freezer is beer glasses. Thanks for the learning. I will definitely try your theroy out and report back.

Kitchen sink session IPA. Unexpected day off so I used what was on hand. Should fall about 5.2%

The bubbles could be from the frost on the inside of the glass too. Common with frosted glasses

Frosted glasses tend to get flamed in the craft beer circle. Extra cold beer tends to mute the flavors. Not saying you're right or wrong just letting you know.

As for the bubbles on the glass they are a sign of a dirty glass. Little bits of oil/ grease or dirt catch the co2 bubbles as it releases. Could be frost build up in your case since the glass is frosted. Ether way - good choice in beers - Enjoy!

One of my all time favorite beers. Can't get Mother here so I have a case shipped every year. $300 bones and it makes me shudder every time

I was very impressed! Barrel aged or just fridge aged? Either one sounds good to me! Its hard to find the blues in my area so it was a nice treat. Also got me pretty fucked up at 10.5% my tolerance isnt what it was haha. Cheers!

Ya, what @Smashing said above, the frozen glasses in the craft beer circle are greatly looked down upon. The reason bars usually freeze their glass is because they sell generally Coors and other similar quality beers that "the colder it is the better it tastes" which is, as what Smashing said, muting the flavors. If you go to breweries, you'll never see a freezer kept glass. I'm also a huge beer nerd like I said before, and when I see someone drinking a delicious beer I want them to get the full flavor profile of it.

Very true with the frosted glass and side bubbles. I used to freeze my glasses until I learned the truth. My glasses never saw the inside of a freezer again. Shot glasses on the other hand....

I believe there is a barrel aged version too but has always eluded me. I meant cellering. A couple in a cool place for 2-5 years and you'll have a wonderful treat

I was sent a FIDY that was canned in 2014. It was amazing. Just had a FIDY on tap last week, still good, but not nearly as good as that 2014.
