I thought the new rule was sellers need to provide a copy of a sellers permit to TW staff in order to deal on TW? Maybe because its through some random guy (seems newish too) via a GB this rule doesn't apply, this might be the case.
Regardless its just kind of sketchy (my opinion) not providing any company info nor having a company website to visit. Instead OP just tells you to reference another comp's website in order to see what you want

It seems sketchy to me too. PMd the guy multiple times with no response. Not sure I want to buy from someone like that. I'm actually just waiting for the Bilstein GB from @ramonortiz55 instead.

Out of Colorado. He has a small site that is incomplete. That's why I like to reference wheelersoffroad.com. it's easier for me to find part numbers.

He started off doing this part time. He is launching his company full time later this year

Reason I didn't post the company info is because I was trying to avoid people messaging him. When group buy questions should be directed to me. But few people that messaged me and asked about the company I did message back.

I do monitor the thread but I did say in the first post. message me for the prices. Most people message me. some people do both. And the people that didnt message me didnt read through the GB page. So I will get to them when I do. Its tough to keep track of who i got back to and how I havent. everyday i get at least 40 messages. and my email I haven't even bothered looking at. i started ignoring that after i had 600 new emails.

As i said in the first post im super busy in the summer. i was looking for a good deal for myself when i found this guy. and i decided to try and help some other tacoma enthusiasts by organizing this group buy. Both SOCO auto performance and myself are average blue collar guys. so if you guys wont work with me, and arent appreciative then dont bother asking.

And im sure there are good deals out there. and im sure there may be deals better than the one i have. but when i did my research i had a hard time finding them. some of you guys may have them. but this is the deal i was offered. you are not obligated to participate just because you asked me about a price.

lastly 1st gen guys I apologize again, i have a partial price list. so if you want something please be more specific. so i can try to get prices on items that people want. instead of EVERYTHING. and no i havent forgot about you. i still have 12 messages from you guys saved in my inbox.

This last week has had quite a few surprises that i wasnt necessarily prepared for. My girlfriends father had to get heart surgery. and im in the hospital on my phone trying to answer people. getting yelled at by my girlfriend.

Now i feel better.

 

Best wishes for your girlfriends father. Sorry the group here was pushy on getting info. People have been ripped off here before, so when something doesn't seem right, they get pushy. I know I'm a first gen, but whenever you have the chance, please PM the prices and I'll decide if I want in or not. I'll give you some slack (as others should too) since this is your first group buy and you're having unexpected issues. But if you end up scamming us, you and your company will get blasted all over the interwebs.

 

Johnny has answered about 95% of the PMs I sent him and the other 5% I chocked up to the flood of PMs he probably received. The price I was given was clear, the shipping price for me (since I'm basically overseas) was clear, and he asked me for specific part numbers to the parts I was ordering
He stated the vendor early in the thread, and with a quick Google search, I was able to pull the FB page, and square.up page in less than 2 minutes. Square websites pop off quite a bit for brand new companies that don't have professional web designers or money to put in that area. Its not Johnny's company as he's already stated. He's located in New Jersey with a stock Tacoma, while the company is located in Colorado. I doubt this is another one of those cheap eBay bumper threads.
I'm taking a leap and putting my trust in him. And if this is nothing but a scam.. Ill burn that bridge when I get to it
