Dude I have seen the way you drive and this place is made for you. There are some tricks to driving in the sand. But you can pretty much haul ass and kick up sand all day. We can easily pull you out with a strap if the tires sink in.

 

True that . Gotta make that OT pay this weekend.

 

I've driven out in Pismo a bunch of times nearly stock.

1. Air down! ~15psi or so.
2. Don't stop facing uphill, always try and stop on a downhill.
3. Be very light on the brakes if you're coming to a complete stop (this way sand doesn't build up in front of your tires)
4. Don't mess around near the water, rangers get very angry about that and you'll get a ticket quick.
5. keep your foot to the floor

 

@Nicklovin , I almost forgot, make sure the 4x4 guys watch out for you! My first trip the 4x4 guys loved to slow down to a near stop at the tops of hills as I'm trying to fly up them so I don't get stuck. So keep an open gap for yourself so you can keep your momentum up

 

Ah then I'm perfect, it'll be like Ocotillo all over again , you know going faster than half of the guys with better trucks

. If I get anywhere near the water with my truck it's going to make my rust so much worse so no worries there

@digitaLbraVo I seen in a FS thread you said you have the race venom?? I just put that sucker on and it's quieter than the magnaflow I had on.. how'd you run yours???

I do not have a radio. My friend has [SER=167523]@Sandtaco[/USER] radio but I forgot to ask him until late last night so he couldn't fins it in time or some shit. I know he has it somewhere. I think someone else has my radio. Either way I'm radio less so keep an eye out for white rhino

 

I have your radio but I wanted to exchange it for mine. Your friend that has my radio? is he a forum member?
