FN wheels slightly different than TRD PRO wheels, wider, etc.

I installed my rear lift blocks a little bit ago. U bolts at 54 ft lbs, shocks at 48 ft lbs. It feels like the ride is firmer now which doesn't really make sense to me? Only thing I can think of is the shocks are no longer at the same spot at ride height anymore. Maybe they need a little time to settle in like they did when they were brand new?

For those of you that used blocks in the back, did you notice it seems to ride firmer after they were installed?

I finally have all of the parts in to lift my Taco. Question: Are the three studs on the top hat long enough when the 1/4" spacer is added? HeadStrong sells longer studs. Looking at the amount of threads showing currently, I am concerned that the nut will not fully engage the threads with the 1/4" spacer. I would appreciate any info.

    Yes they are long enough.
Its close, but there is enough thread there to get the job done. You would only need longer studs if going with the 1/2" top plates.

its long enough for 1/4" spacers, nothing larger though...
I don't have a 16' but have installed many lift kits on older and brand new Tacoma's. :)

Get replacement nuts and use a little red Loctite also. The stock nut threads don't start at the very end of the nut so you lose some bite. A new replacement nut will be threaded all the way through.
