Sounds like you should find out if he's interested in it and teach him how to do it.

As far as your 275 step that shit up. I was very close to entering the 500 club on deads and you've seen me do rows for 225 easily. So get that shit up. And don't say I weigh a fuck ton more than you. I am only about 30-40 lbs on you

Finally hit two plates on weighted chin ups! Only one rep though but going from barely being able to doing 5 body weight chin ups four months ago, I'll take it haha. Wonder if I coulda gotten that second rep if I started out my workout with it instead of doing 4x8 with a 45 beforehand.

Tell him he's being bullied online and he needs to take a big serving of man the fuck up in his shaker and make some gainz.

I'm just kidding. Don't be a dick. Lol. But, that is how I made one of the Roid heads in my gym start doing legs for the first time. We made fun of him every day for a month until he felt like a bitch...I was 60 lbs less than him and squatting 80 lbs more than him when we finally talked him into trying them

Interesting note. We all know I weighed a fuck ton a year ago. But it's amazing I could walk around with 410+ lbs and no issue and 415# leg presses make me cringe like a little bitch.

Bruh hells yes. I don't like fruit, except apples, bananas, pears, and that's pretty much it. Ocassional blueberries, and maybe grapes. It's a texture thing. Maybe I think of boogers as I'm eating a grape, or hair mixed with watermelon. Sorry. No likey los fruits man. I love me some vegetables though. So no worries there. I drink my coffee with raw sugar in the morning.

    Hair mixed with watermelon? :puke:

I don't like the texture of pears, and sometimes watermelon gets me too. I like most other fruits though. I eat a lot of salad too but usually drench it in dressing so it probably negates the benefits. I eat a lot of jalapeños though, from my garden. Core them and rub them with a little olive oil and garlic and either bake or grill them. I could eat my weight in that. Had 5 big suckers tonight with dinner and one lit me up so bad I had to leave the table and walk it off. I've read a lot about the health benefits from eating hot peppers so I've learned to love the pain :bananadead:

Speaking of peppers - @zacharypaul89 (I know you are already lights out for the night) how are those scorpion peppers? I'd never heard of them before you mentioned them. Just read they were named "the hottest pepper in the world". We grew habeneros a few years ago and those little suckers were borderline inedible. I've also had a ghost pepper once but I've had some homegrown jalapeños that were hotter...

Wanna hear some crazy shit. Before I started all this regular Taco Bell taco meat was too spicy for me. Almost 200# gone and I can't get enough of it. I will doing your pepper deal with my fajitas tomorrow. Nothing better than some sautéed jalapeños or hab's. I just my jalapeños long way almost like bell pepper and omg it's amazing.

Dude spicy food is life for me! I used to drink louisina hot sauce out of the bottle just to get my fix. Now I'm more into eating jalapenos and spicy junk cuz it's yummy. I like salads too but as long as its lettuce or spinach with some crutons black olives and 1000 island dressing because i like sweet stuff

I dont know, I workout a few times a week and play ball hockey a few times a week which is a pretty crazy workout. Just one day I got a weird pain out of nowhere that wont leave. Its different too not like a muscle pull but a sharp pain and aggravates even my groin. I stopped working out for a couple weeks and it felt fine then after every workout it comes back a bit. Frustrating as hell

So I had a chance to talk to a guy last night at the gym that is a semi pro baseball player. And I noticed this guy is massive as hell. About my height 250-265 but just solid.

Anyways I noticed he had a similar scar on his shoulder like I do so I asked. He and I had the exact same injury. And even better the same surgeon. He was telling me it took him 6 months before he could lift comfortably and start even think about going heavy. He said by month 9 he was back to benching 375 for 5. So definitely gave me some positive vibes.
He did tell me that at first he could almost guarantee 5lb Dumbbells over head will be too much.

And of course the usual. It still gets him today after a super super long workout but he can usually go an hour of heavy lifting before it starts getting numb. Just the normal listen to your body. Don't over due it when you get cleared. Let it heal keep working legs every two days and just keep grinding. Oh and he can't do dips anymore. Which I really really like dips.

Well, just had an interesting leg day. I'm not a big weekend workout warrior so the odds were already stacked against me to have a good day today, especially being leg day...

Sticking with my 10 sets of failure at 75% of my max goal I was hoping to do 300# but I did my first set at 225 and as soon as I backed off the rack I knew I wasn't going any heavier today so I was already mentally let down. I ended up going 8-6-5-5-5-5-4-4-3-3. I haven't done legs since last Friday since the holiday got me all messed up so I'm not too disappointed. I'll do it again Wednesday and make myself go to 300...

I also got über distracted mid way through my sets because there was some show on the TV above the rack with this dude training a dog to standup paddle board. I want so badly to get my dog to do it so I spaced out hard on the workout and watched him. At least I know how to train him now :bananadance:

I can't stress that enough! After having two major repair surgeries on two separate muscles starting at the bottom and slowly working back up to it while listening to your body is a must. I didn't do that with my first surgery and it slowed my recovery down a quite a few weeks.
