    We answered the "Does a tree make a noise in the forest when it falls" question. I don't remember the noise. Everyone who was was with me said it was loud as fuck. We were in a canyon and the people a part of our group camping a 1/4 mile down from us heard it. One guy thought we were shooting tannerite.

    I'm glad that you're OK, but I think you forgot some fundamentals of camping:

    1) Always carry tree spray

    2) Make noise while at camp and while hiking; chainsaws usually do the trick

    3) Keep certain foods in a safe container: Miracle-Gro; acorns; maple syrup.

    4) If you encounter a tree, pretend that you're a fire.

    As a result, no one wants to camp near me. Everyone tells me to stay away from trees too.

    Tree just game up. It had wet rot in the center of the trunk.

    Weather Techs, Wet Okoles, cbi rear bumper with swingout
    Did a trip with the wife up to Campbell River BC. On the way back, stayed at a provincial campground near Victoria. Perhaps the most well cared for campground I've ever seen. I don't know if you could really call it camping, but it was sure a nice place to park the truck and get some sleep.
