I have a stripped rear wheel stud. After researching the replacement procedure, I am comfortable doing this repair.

Does anyone know what size bolts I need to drive the drum off? That was one thing I couldn't find. Thanks.

M8-1.25 (a size that is used thru-out Tacomas).
In a pinch, you could just 'borrow' a couple them, if they are long enough ( s/b about 30mm or longer)

Excuse me to remove the drum back of the brake adjuster give it a spray of your favorite penetrating spray a few taps with the hammer .

    It comes right off.

Since most Toyota`s I work on those M8x1.25 holes are long stripped out

Thanks. Got it done. One hole was ok, the other had a bolt broken off in it.

Brake adjuster? Hmmm, I must have missed that. It took many whacks with the hammer, but she came off eventually.
