When I go to the field, I usually don't eat my MREs. I just snack on beef jerky and what other POG-ie bait I managed to find room for. I save the MREs for my survival and emergency kits on the civilian side. They've come in handy many of times.

 

Think they are like 4.50 at the dealeship

Don't do cast iron. Pain to clean out camping. I like the non stick ones you can get really anywhere

 

Ended up getting royal Purple to throw in the truck I remember a big thing about it when it first came out. We'll see

 

I've ran royal purple a few times, I really liked it, just not the price, good oil though! I always use a wix filter and normally run valvoline full syn.

 

Yeahh it was kinda expensive but I figured I would try it

 

I rock the msr whisperlite for backpacking and truck camping. But it's usually just me and one or two other people so works great. I've cooked just about everything on it too.

Ok just got back with a few things. They only seemed to have some heavy cast iron stuff. I will go to another store later to get something to cook in.

 

Could head to rei it'll be a little pricier but nice stuff.
