this is a good point. And I feared the same thing. Hoping I could sell back in CA at one point. Just paid the truck off, and now thinking about a new one with 4wd really starts to hurt the wallet.

I hear ya! I have noticed more prerunners for sale here the last few years, but they seem to sit on the lots for awhile.

But buying a 4wd out here compared to there will also hurt the wallet.

Edit, but i guess with 2wd you won't be doing much wheeling to have to do a lot of mods so you'll save money there. Skids, lifts and all the accessories aren't needed for most 2wd capable stuff. not saying you can't do a bunch of stuff, it just won't be as exciting taking bypasses and getting stuck.

All the oils on the truck changed today and tires rotated. I wish Toyota used copper crush washers so I could reuse them.

I have a few of them and all you need to do is donate a min of $10 to Stay the Trail. Phil and I collect for them. Below is the best pic I have. It's the patch right above my garage door opener. IMG_20160612_174351.jpg

Thanks, Gramps! I'm all for responsible recreation, especially after seeing many of my favorite trails back home shut down because of people blazing new trails, and being twits in general. Does one donate via PayPal? Or just cash in hand?

I'm digging the Red Rocks patch and the old school 4WD patch as well!

Hello Mile High Peeps, I am not sure any of you have experience my issue:

Bought in channel window visors from avs. A week later rear passenger window switch went out, dealer stated its because of the window visor but I cant wrap my head around with their response. But at the same time, I have never had window visors until now. :anonymous:

Always makes me think of when people say "it's 4 wheel drive, not 4 wheel stop"

I'm like I get your point.........but every vehicle that has 4 wheels is "4 wheel stop"

The prerunners should of had a hand break instead of foot. So much more fun especially snow:burnrubber:

Calling shenanigans. There have been known issues with the switches in 2nd gens, and I'm sure 3rd gens aren't immune to that. The switch is also not the motor, and the motor is the part that might have to work a little harder to close the window. I've had in-channel on my fronts for over two years now and never had a problem. I'm sure there are many more like me.

I bought a 4 ft anteena for my cb setup, didnt realize how tall that actually is, lol. Anyone think this looks goofy? Maybe i just need to get used to it, or mount it in the back. hehe
