    Tried working on the tube going across the top of the window. Accidentally notched too much and off by a few degrees. First messed up tube:bananadead: . I was close but not good enough. Had to step away from it to figure out how to place my notch correctly this. Little bit rusty on my complicated notches. Never landed a notch on a bend before.

    I had a little bit of a brain fart going on. Too many angles, lol. I must of notched my practice tube wrong three times until I got it right.

    Almost done notching the entire roof. The other tubes won't stay up very long unless I tack them in place. I'll update that photo.

    It's 1.75" tube. I'll be using a bit 1.5" in a few spots like gussets.


    A cool term to name tube and pipe correctly. If it carries stuff through it, it's pipe. Everything else is tube. Tube is measured from OD. People who work in the industry will bite your head off.

    Yeah, I wasn't sure if yours was tubing or piping, that's why I went with pipe. I was under probably the wrong impression that most cages were made out of pipe.

    All roll cages are tube. At least should be tube. You might want to pass on a ride if someone says they used pipe, lol.

    Lol, no that is the jd2 bender with the swag hf ram jack attachment. The notcher is the really only hf truck fab tool I use. Bushing starting to get worn. Wobbles like a hot dog down a hallway.IMG_20160528_180659129_HDR.jpg
