How to remove TRD beadlock rings??

    Anyone know how to remove the beadlock rings on the TRD wheels? I want to take mine off and either paint them, leave them off or plasti-derp when. Thanks in advance!

    Not sure, but I would guess take all the allen bolts out and pull them off.:confused:

    All you need is an allen wrench. There's blue loctite on those allen bolts so it's going to be a little tough, but they will come out with enough torque.

    These don't have any tie to holding tire or air in do they? I'd like to take mine out to be powdercoated while using the truck still...

    No, I bought a T30 star bit to fit on a 3/8" rachet or I can use on impact which I will to remove but probably not to install.

    Yes on the star bit. I wouldn't use an impact at all. They are not that difficult to spin out with a ratchet by hand. It took me all of 15 minutes to remove all four rings from my Baja.
