Well just woke up from a couple hrs sleep , not much but was able to get some rest . Now it's back outside and clean up the Camaro for its last car show before it goes to the race car fab shop

I can have the trenches dug in the time it would take me to get to home depot and back (closed one is 45 miles away) Dirt is soft, so it's not hard to do.

ummmm nope 97* feels like 101* currently on my cool down period.... 8 minutes till I can go back outside. I found the other end of the pvc line!! Now repairs can begin!!! had to dig an extra 8' to find it

 

97* and the feel like temp is 106* here! Did some outside chores and now chilling in the AC watching Rawhide on Me•Tv!

 

yeah it didn't work. i'm detailing my daughters prius she's going to sell and went to pop a dent in the drivers door boy did i screw the pooch on that one wish i could buy the car for myself

 

Got the Camaro all cleaned up and detailed and looks awesome . Now I'm back in the comfort of my AC and relaxing until 1500 , that's when I head to the car show

 

Ouch !!! , how bad did the dent get after you tried repairing it ??

 

i got most of the dent out but it's rt in the body line so the paint cracked just a little and since all i have here is my body hammers and dollies that's all i had to work with so it left ripples, beautiful car only has 60,000 miles on it and she gets over 60 mpg with it. i just hate the idea of going into more debt for anything as we're trying to pay everything off

Dent doesn't look bad , you could get one of those paintless dent repair guys to clean it up some

 

she's leaving in august for up to 2 years on her church mission she's not aloowed a car, phone, tablet, anything

 

if i'd have had those tools the outcome would have been much better. as far as i'm conserned i'd strip it do the body work and paint it. why do simple things always end up not simple

idk susan christie and i have mixed emotions about it. it doesn't seem to be the smartest move for some one at the stage of life she's in but she's also kinda lost. i know some of the decisions we made when we were younger made people scratch their heads like us getting married so young. in the end she's almost 24 years old there's not but so much i can really say. it's already created a rift between us i'm affraid and i'm trying very hard to keep my mouth shut to not make it worse

 

Yeah, as parents we many times have to bite our tongues when our kids do things to not drive them away. They have to find out for themselves that it might not be the best decision. Only way to learn. We can just be there to pick up the pieces (or rub it in)
