Wheels have to be put on hold for a bit. Planned to switch my 2 year old into a full size bed, since he moves a lot in his sleep so the crib is not cutting it anymore, and was going to use an existing full size mattress we have. Well, not going to work as I had planned. Mattress is too big cause it's a pillow top, and the guard rails for the side of the bed so he doesn't fall off don't really work because they barely clear the top of the mattress. Not to mention how tall the bed is, even with a low profile box spring. So, needless to say family and ESPECIALLY the kids come first, and having to provide and give them whatever it is they need, the $$ I had saved up for the wheels is going towards a mattress. Yeah, it doesn't cost $700, but it'll be a couple hundred at least, so that puts a dent into the money. Maybe I can get them as a b-day gift to myself in August.

I'm getting ready to run 265/70/17 Destination A/Ts on my truck here in the next week. If you don't do a lot of off roading I'll let you know what I think. I paid $930 for a set of 5. Significantly cheaper than the KO2s, but they have no sidewall protection.

PS: I'm in grad school for Public Health. My Epidemiology professor always rants about how bed rails can be dangerous because kids will roll against them and them just suffocate from being help up against them. It's better for them to just fall.
Just thought I'd tell you incase you needed some kind of excuse for giving the kid the old bed and getting your wheels ;D

Tell your wife you need the wheels because that's fucking science!

I went with the BFG A/T KO2s in 265/70/17. I think they look just right. They handle great too.

What sizing do I need when moving up from the 16's on my OR?

    17 X9 6-135.00 (0 offset)
    or
    17 X9 6-139.70 (-12 offset)

Don't really believe that suffocating thing. At the age he's at he's smart enough to know to move to be able to breath. He needs the bed. No ifs ands or buts about it. Slept in it last night and think he slept well. Instead of waking up in the middle of the night crying to come sleep with us, he only woke up at 7 am, which is his usual. All in all, money well spent in my opinion. It's my kid, I can't not give him what he needs/wants. The wheels were just a perk. Perks can wait.

FYI- If you remove that little mini front flap in front of the front wheels, you will eliminate the occasional rubbing at lock in reverse.

First of all a big thanks to a fellow VanHalen fan, Unchained 5150 for setting up this deal. Second, this is the second purchase I have made from the ebay seller (bed mat was the first) and I am very impressed with how quick the transaction takes place. I live outside Chicago, and these ship from Madison, WI about 2 1/2 hours away. I placed my TRD Pro wheels order and literally had them on my door step in less than 48 hours. The minor glitch is that the boxes look like they have been through a war zone and one of my wheels is damaged. I do not think this is the sellers fault as the wheels make their way from Taiwan to Wisconsin to where ever the purchaser is. I gave a quick call the dealership phone number that was on the shipping label and was advised to follow the ebay return request with pics. I hope there is a fast response. Although, Discount tire tells me they are waiting on TPMS Modules to be sent from Nevada, so hopefully the replacement wheel delivery will line up with TPMS arrival. For those of you looking, Discount Tire assures me the TRW 1230 TQ 40 (Code #45232) TPMS will work and they have the proper 2016 flash codes. They claim the Schrader 33500 that Sam's wanted to install would be incorrect. I used 4WheelParts.com as a price match for KO2s. That made them $190.50 each and they dropped the $60 price on each TPMS to $45 each. It seemed fair enough.20160715_163937_1468637014151.jpg 20160715_164035_1468637014264.jpg 20160715_165657_1468637013605.jpg

Just contact the seller as this is not the first time they have been damaged. He will ship you another one and pay for shipping on the damaged one

Here's the latest with my situation. The seller is going to email me a return label and send out a replacement for the dented wheel (I was told this past Wednesday, but still waiting for a reply back). The other wheel, he said the gouge is "cosmetic" and is willing to give me a $15 discount. I asked if he could give at least $50 cause it's just an eyesore to me and will be visible even with the tire on, I prob can get the wheel powdercoated. I'm still waiting for a reply back from last Tuesday...

I have had nothing but great experiences with this seller as I have purchased several items from him.
My point here is rather than incurring damage to the items and shipping them back and forth. Maybe the seller should look into some additional packing for these items.
