If you plasti dip your wheels the good thing is if you mess up your can just peel it right off.

don't listen to the trolls on this site. There's plenty of helpful members on here that are willing to give good opinions/advice with questions... on that note i would utilize the search bar and google prior to asking questions that have been beaten to death lol... spacers are fine as long as they are within reason and are hub centric like the other forum member stated. i have spider trax 1.25" spacers on mine and as long as you torque them to spec and use the red lock tite (keeps nuts from backing off the studs) you should be fine. also make sure to check the torque every tire rotation for safe measures...

 

Checked my oil today (2800 miles) and that damn dipstick is hard to read the oil level on. I finally wiped clean and left dipstick out for about 5-min or more then i was able to get a good reading and it was actually just below the first dot (low mark) which maybe wouldn't hurt anything but i added 3/4 quart of Toyota 0W-20 to bring it up near full dot on stick .. prob alot of folks don't even check theirs till 5k service

 

Did a proper photo shoot of the truck today... will post actual pictures once they're done being edited but for now you get to get some teaser cell phone quality pictures lol

 

Finally got time to get in and pick up the new tires. 275/70-17 BFG KO2s.
Had to ditch the front mud flaps due to minor rubbing.
Tried to heat and mold the stock mud flaps but couldn't get enough clearance.
Sliders with fill plates on the way should give enough protection.
If not then I will chop up the stock mud flaps or check out the Rokblokz.

thank you sir! Now the boring part of saving up money for my CBI front and rear bumpers lol after those and the new TRD Pro grille i will be working on the interior and saving up for the hopefully one day super/turbo charger for the 3rd gen lol

 

Too rich for my blood but that is going to be one sick truck when you are done. Super cool. I will get a Pro grille when they are available too.
