Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought my first ever Tacoma, and first new car. I came from a 2008 F150 Super crew, which was just too much truck for what I needed. I've had my little Taco for 3 days now, and I'm already in love. Looking forward to the adventure. Its going to be nice to have a truck that has some aftermarket behind it. That said, I've been looking at different lifts, and wanted to see some lifted 3rd gen access cabs for inspiration. Seems like everyone's rocking the double cab. I think access cabs take a lift differently than doubles do, proportion wise. Lets see em! I'm going to try and get a pic of mine on here, but I'm forum challenged :/

Yea, I was looking through that thread, but didn't really see any access cabs on there. Just thought I'd get em all in one spot. I tried, lol. I searched first.

That is a sweet truck you got there. I have kids so i had to get the double cab even though i really wanted the exact truck that you have. When i was out buying my truck all the white double cabs were manual transmission trucks for some reason and i had to get an automatic this time so i ended up with a blazing blue truck instead. Congrats on the sweet ride.

Lol, I'd kill to have a manual. Sucks you can't one in an access cab offroad. I don't hate the auto though. Almost 500 miles on it and the shifting is getting a lot better. Getting 20mpg is pretty nice after the 13 that my old truck got too.

You should read his post before telling him to use the search. I just scrolled through the first 16 pages of the thread you suggested and I didn't see a single access cab and there are over 140 pages on that thread. There are plenty of double cab pictures and even pictures of a girl dancing with sharks, a lifted first gen and a tundra but no access cabs and i don't have time to start scrolling through eleventy seven pages of nonsense just to find a picture of something i am looking for that might not be there and i am sure others don't either.

I noticed that also after I responded that lifted AC are rare in that thread. I'll have to look for the girl and the shark tho ;)

I'm also curious to see an access OR with the TRD Pro/ BFG KO2 set up. Most, if not all the ones I've seen are SBDC.

That's kind the exact setup I'm leaning toward. Probably just stick with the stock OR wheels for now.
