Plastic dip badges. Upgraded head unit, husky floor liners, BFG ko2 tires.
I'm up in Georgetown maine now. Been going to Acadia for years! Love it up here. This is the first road trip with the Tacoma. I was very impressed with how it did. Only upgrade I have so far are BFG ko2 tires. 265/75/r16. Kept truck at 70-75mph average 18 mpg! Others than that Love Maine and all it's beauty. Also had my mountain bike and thule roof box on cap!

...^^^... You guys look like you "rough it" a lot more that your American counterparts.

Where are you camping in Australia ?? .... Just curious .... Thanks ...

EDIT: I like the ways you guys camp out in Australia ... this photo reminds me of ... "Mad Max & The Thunderdome". ... other photos are very scenic.

We camp anywhere particularly near water except in northern territory where my 16 year old daughter is doing hiking and site seeing with a scout group. Camp near water there and the crocs will eat you in your bed. Many have been eaten this way.
Beaches are a favourite particularly for fishing. You can find beaches here where you are the only sole fir hundreds of miles.
Mountains beside a river or at the peaks with a view. Camping in the winter snow also good.
Outback desert areas popular but can be very remote and considered extreme 4x4 mainley because if you get in trouble the nearest person could be 2 days drive away. Emergency eperbs are now popular as many have died out there

The other is in caravan parks. Think you call them trailer parks. In Aust these are extremely popular particularly near the beach. In Aust they are like luxury resorts and families and the "grey nomads" ( retired couples how travel ). I also use these with the family with my camper so not always swagging it.

No they don't climb but before you go to bed, get up for a tinkle during the night or in the morning you may loose a leg climbing down

I lived in Australia for a couple years, it was great, loved every minute of it and sometimes wish I would move back.... but to go camping down there would take a set of crackers I currently don't possess HA!

    Correct.
We call them "snow birds", partly for the snowy color of the hair, and partly because they tend to migrate just like the birds, moving south to warmer climates during the winter and north to cooler climates during the summer.

given the clothes the group is wearing around camp, looks like a pleasant climate. I was on the North part of Vancouver Island earlier in the week and we wore about the same. The whole west has been un seasonably cool.

How stable is the trailer with people moving around in the RTT if its not hooked up to the truck? I really like these setups.
