It's cooling system style it's a closed system not the regular open system . I have 87 it's first generation 4.0 that tend to have heating issue that's why I recommend getting 96 and newer xj.

No judgement here, my '04 came with electric cooling fans that don't exactly do their job as well as advertised...if I run my AC while in 4lo for an extended period of time I start to overheat too. Putting a stock fan clutch back on is on my never-ending list of mods....or maybe I'll just cut some holes in my hood haha ;)

So my plan for tomorrow is to hit up either Rowher or Drinkwater with my brother, haven't decided just yet but I'm going to do either or both. I have my dad's wedding to go to next weekend and then I have to help him move out of his apartment the following weekend, so tomorrow is my last day for dirt until August. If anyone wants to join tomorrow, hit me up. Planning on hitting the trail by noon at the latest

More so back to researching stage since my busiest class is over. I've considered doing one, you know if I decide I want to keep the truck & do a 4x4 conversion down the road.....
That or take the same route @BAMFTACO did, buy a beater 4x4 & beat the hell out of it with no regrets

I got it for free lol but put like 2 grand into it new tires, wheels, brakes, brake lines, suspension tubular links, ball joints,u joints and many other things. Saved a ton by doing everything myself I used to work automotive before I started working at the post office so collected alot of tools which helps alot when I need them.

I would join you, but I am pretty wheeled out after yesterday. Going to go crawl under the truck as soon as I can drag my ass out of bed to inspect my drive shaft.

Hopefully it's just that dust cover rubbing making all the noise.
