Oy, you seriously need to take it down a few notches. The problem of scaring girls away stems from the fact that you find out a few cool things about her and all of a sudden she is the one and you can't let or her go and you need to snatch her up before some other dude comes along a takes her away.

You haven't even met her yet!! I don't care how good her texting skills are, nobody's personality comes through with plain text. Tell yourself that you are meeting her purely as a friend. Just see where it goes from there. If you both like each other for who YOU BOTH REALLY are, things will fall into place. Trying to cram a puzzle piece into place just because it "seems" like it should fit does not mean it does. Girls are always attracted to cool, confident laid back guys who don't give a hoot either way if the girl likes them or not.

Relax, take it easy as everyone else said and for the love of God stop telling yourself that this girls is the one. That's the biggest mind f*** you can do to yourself.

Don't dump the truck ( your life story all at once). Listen to what she has to say and be interested in her. Be in the moment as the rest of your life story will come out soon enough.

Just be yourself! LOL - no man, DON'T - that never works.

Seriously, remember one thing ... no matter how cool and gentlemanly you are, you will piss her off eventually. But that's ok because any decent woman will allow you to redeem yourself - so consider that a test of her mettle.

My advice: head for the hills and assume all women are evil and out to ruin your life!

Okay, not serious advice, just me being bitter over a recent break up lol.

First.... Show her your Tacoma. How could she resist you? Seriously, though, be yourself. Don't waste time pretending to be someone else. She'll see right through it. Good luck.

    Dude,

Im sort of the same way... Well I used to be. But i've come to realize that even if she is smokin Hot or REALLY cool and fun to be with, dont show it completely. Yeah, compliment her but don't over do it. I believe that's what you mean by smothering her. DON'T! I know sometimes it's not as easy as it sounds because she's good looking and you enjoy being/talking with her but fight the urge. Just be yourself because that's who you want her to like. Not you acting like somebody else. If she doesn't like you for you, then move on to the next one.

Be yourself. Compliment her (a little), and don't rush. Talk to her sort of as a friend and not as a potential GF. Then little by little start reeling her in.

I didn't read all of the posts but this is EXACTLY right. I used to have this problem and it always lead to the girl getting away. You don't need a single other piece of advice but this one! oh yeah.... And as is stated above "Don't mind Fuck Yourself"
