Let me bring them down a peg.
Not one person was wearing clothing made from natural materials. That means the plant in which it was manufactured in is either getting energy from coal, oil, gas or hydro. We all know what it takes to mine or refine these resources. Massive amounts of land usage, including deforestation.
Oh and at least one of them had a ring on. Iron, copper, gold, any mineral of the like had to be from a mine. Never mind energy used building the infrastructure they needed to transport thier sorry asses to a dead tree.

Im just so frustrated with these groups that use these pathetic tactics to gain interest in a useless cause instead of educating themselves and making a difference.

In a decent world a tree might take out half of them in a freak accident.

 

Called out a PETA member for wearing leather shoes, and kept grilling him on how he got to Hawaii unless he floated here like the Hokulea using wind power you used some sort of fossil fuel. Yep, unfortunately it seems inevitable. I can see people pushing for all kinds of new stupid laws to protect peaceful protestors who block busy interstate highways. What do you think will be next? Railroads? Airport runways???

"Hey I got it!!! Let's all go and lie down on our nearest international airport runways to show that our lives matter." What concerns me is there are actually people out there that think this is a good idea.

 

Relax, this is not that big of a deal. Its protesting, tactics change. This is just a form of a sit in. I would hope people would show enough compassion to not run down a protester because they were inconvenienced.
