You were talking about BBQ's...Just refurbished a bbq that someone left at the end of the driveway. It was one of those ones that looks like a black barrel on it's side. I took the hardcore wire brush to the grates to get the rust off, washed them up, rubbed them with oil and seasoned them in the oven. The boyfriend used scrap mahogany pieces to add a sweet handle and replaced the side table wood. First tested it with some zucchini slabs so wouldn't ruin the london broil. Turned out delicious. Pretty surprise at how much surface area it has. I was using a smokey joe, the small shorty webber, prior to that. The tree hugging, global warming fanatics would be proud - repurpose/reuse/recycle.

I'm not familiar with how Rob's is set up, but typically, the inverter only runs when you have it plugged in to 110 power. The inverter changes the AC to 12v DC and will charge the camper's battery also. Usually, in the panel, you'll have circuit breakers which are for the AC power and will only be live when the camper is plugged in and a line of fuses that are for the 12v circuits like the lights. You shouldn't have to switch anything over as long as it's all connected properly. With the battery hooked up, do your lights work inside the trailer?

The battery was dead so I never had a chance to test the lights. Rob said he never used the battery either so it was dead when he got it also. When I get home from work tomorrow I'll hook it up and see what happens. It charged all day and only got to about 75%

Do you have a 7 pin tow harness? If so, you can set it up so it charges while it's being towed also which helps.

I have my 4pin connected to a 7, so its not a true seven pin. I've been wanting to convert it though.

Never did. Mine was a blue, 2wd, 98.5, 24v, 2 door, extended cab. It was no good at anything off pavement, but could chew up highway miles like it was going around the corner. I got rid of it around the time diesel was pushing to $5/gallon after it killed a third injection pump. I do miss it though.

Morning guys. So Friday was my wife's birthday and Jacob wanted to take his mommy to the movies for her birthday. Oh course we had to see Secret Life of Pets which came out on Friday. Honestly I think a little of it was he had his own agenda. Lol. So we went to Mendon drive in and had a great time.

More like screw you weather people! I actually listened to them and had a wonderful ride in the cold rain on the bike yesterday... I checked the forecast before I left, it was supposed to be clear for the next 5-6 hours, figured plenty of time to make it to my soccer game and back, got wet on both ends of the trip and played in the rain.

Love the Mendon Drive in. I would always have the bed of the truck face the screen and set my chairs in the bed

I pushed the 29 out this weekend to get some pics. The time has come to let her move on so someone can finish her and driver her.

I suppose so. It was still fun to be out on the bike. I hadn't been riding for 3 weeks prior to yesterday. I took my life in my hands and took the little 350 on the highway for part of the ride home also. It did surprisingly well! The new supermoto front fender actually made a big difference at high speeds. The massive mud fender caught a lot of wind and pushed the front end around, the new one seems a lot more stable.
