I have yet to do anything yet, have to get a better drill bit, but I plan on trimming the plastic about 3/4" beyond the bumper edge, then put a few of these threaded clips on the plastic, line up on the bumper and drill holes in both the plastic and bumper to allow the bolts to go through.

thanks man! Thats not a bad idea but i'm thinking i will likely cut the bumper when i pull it to put a winch in. until then ill leave the rim pieces out. unless it bothers me a bunch, then ill do that.

I had to notch my bumper just like that. As far as the fender liners, i bent them up into the bumper and they have stayed put and dont stick out in any strange places. i can get photos if anyone is interested.

I see you have a '12. Can you check your ID plate and see what month yours was built?

I am really curious about this condensor change lol

Sorry, that post was misleading. When I say ill cut the bumper I mean I will cut the bumper under where those headlight trim pieces fit. I already notched the bumper by the AC line exactly how you did. if you still need codes I can get them but we had the same issues.

Take note that All-Pro's bumper comes with the notch in it already or so it appears from photos on their site. Its not easy to see but its there.

If you wouldn't mind that would be great. Don't need the VIN or anyhing, just month it was built. Top corner on the door jam sticker

I'd also like to know what @Patch92's build date is. He also has a '12 but didn't seem to have issues on his install.

The reason I am so curious is the seller has said he thinks it is my truck. He's been helpful and is working with me, just want to set this issue to rest

He was inspecting the underside there. He was kinda leary of the fit at first, but ultimately signed off from it.

Actually, he was just hovering around waiting for a door to open so he could force me into taking him for a ride lol

Here is the spacing issues I have to work on. The day I installed it I figured I would work on it the following weekend so I will let you guys know how I make out. Also I threw in a pic of my cut for the AC line.

Yeah, yours has a tight fit to the fender as well. Mine looks pretty even on both sides and actually sits below the fender/flare on both sides. It's the headlight filler pieces and the grill that has gapping issues.

I actually have a complete color matched frille in the closet from camelback, so if problems do come about I can always trim more off the fillers and probably the bottom of the grille as well. Although it is a bit more modification than I cared for on a bolt on application.

I haven't popped the hood since trimming the filler pieces. Will do that sometime this week and go from there. Heat is moving back in.

If I was you (all of you who bought this bumper), I'd replace the body mount bushings and flip them for a 1/2" body lift to gain clearance. Your first trip off road is going to get expensive from body damage.

Some of it was brought on by butthurt by those wanting to get the thread locked, others at attempts of humor and some by neccessity.

If these bumpers are not going away, this thread will be useful to anyone looking into future batches. Amazes me(not saying you in particular) how many people post just to say how useless the thread is. A bit redundant one would think.

Yeah wasn't you exactly I was talking about, but that's why all those things were posted.

I started to respond earlier and got busy, the stupid auto save feature keeps putting it back in the comment section everythread I opened. Not sure how to get rid of it so I finished the response.
