    Good day everyone,
So I got some problems... After adding amp+sub to my truck flashers/emergency lights sometimes wouldn't work. When I added amp I ran signal from the front speakers to the amplifier and that was it, didn't touch any other wires.
Just to give you an example: I just started my truck flashers and emergency lights didn't work, then I kicked in R...boom, it works.
Don't know what would cause this?clamped wires some where when reinstalled plastic?

I guess that's what you get when you don't want to pay apro for installation:)

    Thanks in advance for responses!

P.s. JL Audio sub and amp sound amazing with everything stock, I am very impressed!

What did you use to power the remote turn on for the amp?

Your tied into the speaker wires, for a line output converter or high input into the amp, or are you amount those speakers your tied into?

If they are a twisted pair of wires are you sure they are speaker wires and not CAN bus wires? If you list the colors I'll post the correct wire colors

So I have aJL-400/4 amplifier with built in highs/converter, so no need for LOC or LC2i. I split speaker wires to get a signal to the amp.
My father I law has a lot of wires laying around:) I didn't purchase any special wires to run the signal to amp and from amp to speakers, I used what he had.
    Here is a picture:

    image.jpg

Then I attached these to black ones so I can hook it up to amp:

Ok, but what did you tie in for the remote wire? Assuming your running the factory head unit still.

    Speaker wires should be:

    LF- lavender/black + lavender white -

    RF- lavender/red + lavender/green -

    LR- white + black -

RR- blue + light green -

Yes the factory unit and I used front speakers wires for signal. No can bus in my install.

Make sure your tapped into the correct speaker wires. It's very possible one of the sets you used are can wires and not actual speaker wires

I didn't run wires for signal from behind the HU, instead of doing that I spliced wires behind here:

    Last question:)
Can this cause some other problems beside my current situation, anything worse?

Yes, I'm guessing your accidentally on a CAN line. That's the data network that goes from module to module inside the truck. Any module that's tied into that network after the point of your entry could have some type of adverse effect. Luckily CAN is very stable so to speak and any back feed or grounding of that shouldn't do any permanent damage.

Tacomas Have used CAN since 2005. They probably said that because older tacomas for a long time you never used the CAN system for remote start where other toyotas you did

Just check the wires your into and see if the colors match what I listed. If not I'm telling you that's your problem. Driving without turn signals is dangerous

I checked today and colors don't match. Of course they match in the back of HU but not where I tapped in. I'll run new set of wires from HU, didn't have much time today.
    Thanks again!

The only wire(s) you should be able to get in the drivers kick would be the drivers door speaker and possibly the drives rear. So if you tried to get all 4 in the drivers kick than your definetly in to some other type of network wires

I just tapped in front speakers, didn't touch rear doors.
I looked at the wire colors that is plugged in the door speaker, found those colors behind the "driver kick" side cover and tapped in.
This morning when I get in, truck was already running(remote start), nothing worked. After I released rhbrake everything came on.

Your truck a key or push button? Sounds like they didn't power your accessory and ignition wires up right then if that's the case. When you step on the brake it shut the remote start off and the truck stays running, of something wasn't powered right that's why it's functioning after you step on the brake. Assume it's an aftermarket remote start. Although you could still be tapped into a wrong set of speaker wires as well for the amp
