The length of the spring does not matter at all as long as it is the same length that came on the CO you are good. You need to simply step up in spring rate but I would only do it by 50lbs with a 650 coil. 700's are stiff as fook.

I would clearance your fenders better and lower your ride height. If you don't, you'll just end up rubbing bad when you wheel.

Your ride is shitty because you don't have any down travel. More preload= more lift = less down travel. Changing coil length won't change if you still run the same amount of lift.

I'm pretty sure using a longer, 14", 650lb spring (more lift, with less preload) should produce better results than the 13" 600lb spring with lots of preload (3" of thread showing.)

The hope was when I dropped it off, that I wouldn't be cranking the coilovers to ruin the ride of my new coilovers.

Don't upgrade coils to a higher weight rating unless you are adding armor. Yes a 14" spring would help but I'd lower it back to the height you had it and just trim/hammer more

Only the spring rate makes a difference, the spring being longer is useless, needless, makes zero shits difference at all.

NO, no no for the love of God NOoooooo :smash::smash::smash:a longer spring does NOTHING...how many times have we been over this in this thread !? A 12" 600 lb spring is the exact same thing as an 18" 600lb spring. The taller spring will not do a damn bit more to hold the truck up.

Edit - if my iPad changes the word spring to Springer just one more time I'm going to play frisbee out my second story window into the driveway with this damn thing :annoyed:

Maybe someone can help me out. I'm going to be doing the bamf shock relocation pretty soon.. I'm looking at the King 2.0 smoothies with compression adjusters.. Or go big and get the 2.5s with compression adjusters and Ibp option. I can't decide if I want to drop twice the $$.. Has anyone run the 2.5s with the Ibp option? Is it worth the extra over 2.5s or even the 2.0s?
