Went for a walk with the dog first thing this morning on my normal run route. And then ate way too much this afternoon. The random snacking got to me

Find your TDEE. your TDEE = factors in sleep, work, exercise.. everything. eat more than your TDEE to bulk, eat less than your TDEE to cut.

Imagine almost overdosing on cocaine, but not getting sick. Just really really cracked out, hyper, and jittery. Now multiply that feeling by 6 and add in a good muscle pump.

Decided it was time for new shoes again. My nike free's were a few years old, missing the soles, and the left shoe was chewed up by my dog. I kept them and ran in them just cause I didn't want to purchase new shoes. Decided to go with inov8 this time again and try out the 250's. Mainly because I don't run much any more and if I do, they are under 3 miles. I do spend a lot of time on the stair stepper or rowing machine. Figured the cross training style adopted for crossfit would easily fit the bill. Hopefully I can just use these and not have to switch into chucks for squats.

I had trouble deciding on color. Never been one to have shoes that stand out but these were a bit cheaper ($20) than the less flashy ones and looked better than the boring black and white version.

Damn, that's the artsiest picture of shoes I have ever seen!

Depending on how hard that heel is, I would think you will need to switch back to chucks for squats. In my experience, a cross-trainer heel has too much cushion for squats.

I like those though. Have you tried them out in a workout yet?

Nope, they will be here tomorrow. Squats on Wednesday. The heel is their "power heel". Which is 40% denser than their typical shoe. The 250 is meant to be the inbetween shoe that gaps the bridge between their baseline oly shoe and the more minimalist 235. It has a 6mm (I think) drop, so you should have an advantage at squats/cleans.

Spotify has a BLM station. I'm done with Pandora. I'm sure they took a ginormous hit in revenue this weekend.

I lowered my carbs Friday and Saturday. Yesterday and today I'm doing low carb and tomorrow I'm gonna refeed. I feel leaner but I feel small. I'm excited to see what happens tomorrow. i might do chest and back.

I am glad that was brought up. I'll stop listening to Pandora because I am ignorant and can't see that the BLM movement also has positive views that a business owner in a "free" country may support.

Or maybe I can see the positive and the negatives of the BLM movement, but choose to not use Pandora because the service isn't as good as Spotify.

So glad our moderators are pushing their views on controversial topics while members would be reprimanded for even talking about sensitive topics such as the BLM movement.

I did a re-feed yesterday. Five Guys peanut butter, chocolate and bacon milkshake. I then proceeded to crush my workout this morning. Felt great.

Since I lowered my carbs I feel less bloated all the time. You can tell the cuts are more noticeable. When I refeed I'm not gonna go too crazy. Maybe 250-300g of carbs max. I'm hoping to look like future trunks, the one who killed freiza during my workout.

I have cut carbs back alot. Not entirely, but substantially. Haven't noticed a huge change in energy after the first few days. I allow myself one to two cheat meals a week. Stilling having trouble getting below 195. Seems that I always come back from the weekend back at 200 and leave on Friday at 196-197. Its not like I change a lot. The gyms closed, but I generally stay active (hiked 3 miles yesterday at 10k elevation) it was light, but still active and certainly got my heart rate up fast.

I have recently cut my salt intake to a minimum. I only use it sparingly when needed.

Getting to 185 may be more difficult than I thought. Tonight I am going to try and start walking 3-5 miles per night before bed.
