I'm gonna measure like a million times, and get myself a nice dremel tool instead of using a circular saw so that I can just do really precise small cuts at a time haha

A hole saw should give you a better cut then a dremel. If you're worried about it, I would suggest a slightly smaller hole saw and then dremel to fit.

Been waiting months for them. Should be coming in soon.

It is, still excited. Probably have to upgrade to 600# front springs though.

@Davtopgun you are running OME right? Do your shocks sound like they are bottoming out when you go over a speed bump?

What springs did you get? Mine are very stiff, and I got the 885's. I ramp it over the local railroad tracks and doesn't bottom out.

My kit is the HD kit.

I got the 885s as well. I got the light kit however, and I have read on here that those shocks will fix the problem. Now I am trying to decide what to do about it. Someone from here contacted ARB and they sent him the HD shocks to correct the problem.

What kind of driving are you doing that bottoms them out?

If I didn't have a bunch of armor coming, I would have gotten the light kit, too.

Apparently they are "topping out" there is not enough down travel after I go over a speed bump, they hit a stop inside the shock to keep them from over extending. Seems like some people have this problem and then others do not. It's pretty annoying.

Since I just pulled mine again...

Get the front on jack stands, pull the tires.

Pull a couple of the plastic locks that hold the rubber splash shields up so they will be out of the way.

You will notice 2 plastic wire holders on both sides that you can pinch and push through into the engine bay. If you not sure, wait until you start to remove the bolts and you will find them.

Take a crescent wrench and tighten it up on the pinch weld. Gently work it out so that you can get a 3/4 (19mm) socket on the top nut.

At this point I like to take a jack and bring the whole control arm up a little to take some of the pressure off UCA and ball joint connection.

Loosen the UCA bolt. May require cheaters.

Loosen the ball joint connection to the spindle.

Remove the 12mm bolt that holds the speed sensor wire bracket.

    Remove jack

Remove the ball joint from the spindle and run a zip tie through the bolt hole in the spindle to your spring to hold the spindle in place.

Finishing removing the UCA bolt. Don't forget you will want to remove the wire holders and the bolt will run right against the fender and the wire through to the front.

Some say to run the bolt in from the back when you reinstall, but I had problems clearing my fuel lines, so I put mine back through the front. I didn't move my pinch weld back.

As for Uniball prep. Never owned one.
