I looked into picking up the paint he uses, it's from a specialty company that will really only sell it in large volumes getting a can or two here or two isn't easy.

 

Need another car wash to clean this salt off haha. Hosed it down once right after but needs a good cleaning.

I still have a bunch of black rattle-can wheel paint that I used on my wheels awhile back, I'll probably just touch up with that

 

Yeah I've been waiting to give mine a good rub down as they're starting to get some scratches here and there. Meh. Character.

Yeah I've done some reading into these e-fans and they're really made for street performance, not so much the slow moving/high RPM conditions of off-roading. Plus, mine don't have a variable speed. They're loud as hell and for whatever asinine reason, the previous owner thought it to be a good idea to install a switch for them inside the cab so that they have to be turned on manually (they aren't activated by the thermostat). That was a fun one to figure out on my own, I almost overheated my truck the first time I went out wheeling with it because I wasn't aware of what the switch was for.

Anyway I've been looking into the stock fan setup and I can get it for pretty cheap, hopefully the labor isn't all that bad.

 

So... Are we going to Pismo this next weekend? Camping?

If so, I am not sure where I should be buying a "whip mount" and "whip flag" from.

 

I wonder if Mckenzie's has them? You'd love that shop man..

 

I won't be able to do any wheeling/camping until after this month is over Wedding this weekend, helping my pops move the next, then a freelance gig at the end of the month.

 

I'll call them some time today to see if they've got what I need.
