CB and Antenna install

Hello all,

I have a Cobra CB and am planning on installing it soon with my 4' firestik antenna. I have a bed cover and want to mount the antenna on the factory taillight bolts between the gate. Does anyone know if the BAMF taillight mount for 2nd gen will fit 3rd gen tacos?

It will not. As if now, I don't think anyone makes one for the third gen.

 

That was my worry, I dont like the hood style mounts personally but may just fab my own for the tailgate

 

To my knowledge it does not bolt up the same way. I will be making a 3rd gen mount at some point soon after I get some time to mock one up on a 3rd gen and I'll hit you up if you haven't already got one by that time

 

Sweet, I would appreciate that! Perhaps one with the square look of the BAMF 2nd gen mount would be awesome! I'd pay a little more for black powder coat too!

 

Hopefully I can get one going here pretty soon. I do a little fabrication work on the side of my full time job so I'll try to get to it sooner than later
