I did get pricing from Pittsburg Drivetrain:

1.) $600 - New 2- piece driveshaft & carrier bearing

• They won't sell just the rear section.

2.) $191 - Re- tube rear half (prop. shaft)

• "Toyota Tubing"
• Balance both driveshaft sections.
• $73 extra for the carrier bearing.

3.) $230 - Re- tube with thicker walled tube

• Includes balancing both sections.

With option 2 & 3, you will have to provide the yokes/ old driveshaft.

I'm going to bring in my driveshaft and try to get them to make a new back 1/2 (prop. shaft). Really want a spare. If not, I will be going with option 3.

@tacomgee & @EL BOOGIE , keep your yokes if you already replaced the driveshaft. Re- tubing the prop. shaft (without balancing) is only $58.

I forgot to ask if they use genuine Toyota cardboard...

Bars showed up today...with 4 tabs welded upside down and no extra tabs. Sigh.
