Thanks, yea go easy if it affects you like that. I've gotten so used to it, but believe me I look forward to the fall. Sometimes I think back 30 + years when I was a rebar iron worker down here and just shake my head that I was able to do that for about 15 yrs. I think after working that hard in the hot summers allows me to handle it at this age! Good to see your aviator back on the site!

i've not been able to shoot for over 3 months now and for me that;s been tough. i shoot almost everyday in preperation for competitions and it's become a form of therapy from reallity at times. they are just now allowing me to pick up and shoot 1 of my training bows i use for girlscouts. i'm thinking i'm going to miss another bow season this year but when i get back healthy i may end up on your deck drinking coffee with you and accidentally shooting 1 of those big deer. my new found addiction to tw is about the only thing that's helped pull me through this

Yes you are in the right place, Bruce, welcome. Finally, someone I have met in person.
I love the bristle cone area, trees that are 3k years old make me feel young.
Have you ever made it to White mountain peak? It's the only 14k I have climbed.

Chris you are welcome any time on my deck drinking beer, or coffee. No firearms if beer but the bow is OK :D

I was on recruiting duty in the mid 80's and old man Kinsey at Kinsey Archery tried to talk me out of reenlisting and coming to shoot for him professionally. Glad I didn't now. Not sure of your surgery and why you can't shoot but have been there and done that, it sucks. Hang in there bud and do what the doc says it pays off in the end. Usually anyhow. And serious you are welcome here anytime.

There is this thing called Pope & Young maybe you've heard of it? :p They are 20 miles down the road for a good reason. Finally went there a year or 2 ago when it was to hot to fly fish. Saw some treebark camo hanging on a door and mentioned it to the curator and he said they have been looking for a full set for awhile. Told him yeah I have a full set and a Darton 50MX the first 50% letoff and his eyes got big and asked it I wanted to donate it. I don't think so! Just in case....
