    But my "rack" is in two parts. The brackets that always stay on, and the bars which I remove to store the tent. The tent always stays on the bars, but if I ever need it off I can always grind off the bolts.


    So these brackets are always on.

    My tent stays stored unless I'm using it. Where the tent is attached to the bars there's a bead of weld on the bolts. Then just lower it down onto the truck.

    For added security I run a cable lock between the tents and the bars, then lock it to one of the rings in the bed.

    i'm wondering the same thing. using mine as my daily driver until i replace the water pump in my other car and at times i'm concerned about my rtt

    I puked out of mine for the first time this past weekend.

    Pro tip: barfing while laying on your stomach from the RTT causes puke to choke you in every breathe hole.
