got the tractor transaxle fixed up and reassembled/installed. 3 gear works like a charm now. the culprit was a shifting fork that was a little tweaked, likely just from being close to 40 years old. bent it back with a sledge and welded a gusset in so it doesn't bend again. 3rd gear is definitely a point A to B gear. too fast for lawn mowing and/or beer drinking.

anyone ever been to Community Forklift in Edmonston? really cool warehouse reuse center, with all kinds of building supplies and antiques.

picket up some tile to redo the master bath with, and some antique windows that my wife likes to turn into picture frames.

also got an antique wrought iron fire place shield. i widened it a bit with some scrap i had laying around the garage, and turned it into a gate so the dogs can play out on the deck without running away.

i have to make one suggestion, purely because the camera angle is perfect for it...... you definitely need a hula girl glued to the dash, dancing her ass off going around the course.

Alan Pflueger has one in his trophy truck, there's some in cab footage of him running the dry lakebeds at 140 and the hula girl on the dash is shakin' her brains loose.

I would go with Rausch personally I have participated in a B/D event at the Cove before it's expensive ,crowded and you have to follow a trail guide and I have been to the Cove(Gore Va) without Bigdogs when your not suppose to use trails unless you know someone ( my nephew does) it more fun without Bigdogs.Just my 2cents

Darn. Might have to find a way to install it without removing the sway bar then, not sure if i can R&R the end links by themselves, or if it would provide the necessary clearance. At least i found my impact gun, so ill have that to make things easier with the springs
