    Hi,
    I have a 2012 Tacoma off-road DC and looking to get 2016 4Runner stock rims with tires size 265, 70, R17.
    Mine are 265,70,R16
    Will they fit, any rubbing?
    My truck is stock.
    Thanks

Fit without issue and they have a little less offset so the wheel sits out just a touch more. I have 265/65R17's mounted and not even close to rubbing.

Those are some nice looking wheels. 4Runner wheels are way nicer looking than any Tacoma wheel.

Nice! How did you get the black paint to stick? Powder coated?

Did they rub bad against the mudflaps? I have been hearing different stories. No rubbing at all, rubbing against the small mudflap (little one at the front of front tire), and rubbing against the mudflaps.

    Powdercoated.
You have to remove both front flaps.

It rubbed at half lock both directions, especially when going over small bumps, like turning into a driveway and going over the small 2" curb. On the factory flaps you can see there is a small bump that sticks out.

It wasn't hurting anything. Just scuffing the bump. The sound didn't even bother me. The massive scrapes while off roading irritates me because I was never sure if I was scuffing he flaps or bottoming out something important. So I yanked them off. Looks waaaaay nicer.

I'm looking into these too. I want to keep my flaps though and I also have the 265/70/17. I'm guessing it would rub based on what I've heard.

It's easy enough to find where it's rubbing, probably on the little nub on the mudflaps. Use a heat gun to soften the plastic and press it inwith the side of a chisel or something a quarter inch and probably wouldn't rub

Thanks a lot for your reply. I will try to do that since I want to keep the mudflaps. One more thing, what did you do about the tpms? Did you buy new ones or switched them? I got the same wheels you have on.

Your TPMS sensors will switch over if you have aluminum wheels. If your running Toyota steel wheels the sensor angle is different and won't work with the Toyota aluminum wheels.

Mine were already 5 years old so I didn't bother swapping them to the new wheels. The battery in one of them would probably die within a year or two anyways and it's extra money to break the old tires off the rims to get at the sensors. I don't mind the light in the dash
