she likes the look better than she thought she would (and she thinks the plate inserts have something to do with that) but she has not ridden in the truck with them yet, which is good cuz its way toooo hot for her to enjoy it. but in the fall as it cools down I think shell be pleased!

First time waxing the truck in over 2 years (which means im overdue 4 haha)

90% of the scratches from Windrock over a year ago came out, with the 3 deep scratches only 20-30% still visible. Should have done this so long ago.

    Wax1.jpg

Some ask, "why do the top, no one sees it!" my reply: ". . . I do."
    Wax2.jpg

    Finished product. Like a mirror.

    Used Meguiar's Cleaner Wax

Headed up to Atlanta to check out the first ever YotaMafia public meet at Stone Mtn, GA. Probably over 60 vehicles showed, 20-25 tacomas probably showed, then there were the tundras and FJs. Kinda slow moving event, with not much going on. They did provide food if you bought a meal ticket with original purchase of event pass, got an all white shirt that says yotamafia atlanta 2016 on it. When I realized it was the first meet they ever put together, it makes sense that things were they way they were. not a bad meet, but you could do the same thing for 20$ cheaper/person (tickets were 20...) by meeting with some friends at a house and grilling out. Lots of different kinds of tacoma from built offroad beasts to 22" wheels with thin walled tires and trailer pulling side mirrors (the ones that stick out like 2 feet....yes ppl put those on tacomas which I didnt know about. . . . to each their own I guess). As alwasys, I didnt get any pictures cuz I was walking around and hanging out with friends there but @iK0NiK did snag a few good looking pics of trucks. idk if he doctored these up, but he did a great job at taking them! thanks again!

No problem! Truck and camera did all the work, I just cropped them.

Also subbed for future shenanigans. :spy:

I had more than one person ask me about the flooring and I just realized I never posted anything up on the OP, so my bad.

Here it is, all stripped out, down to bare metal.
    Bare.jpg

This is the flooring I installed myself. Its OEM but can be hard to find (or atleast it was with my toyota "experts" workin the parts desk...and I went to 3 different dealers in my area)

    Mat.jpg

by far, one of the best investments I have made. lots of worry is erased with this upgrade as far as offroading and messing things ups.

Just pulled the trigger on a BruteForce HC bumper with tire carrier. made a few minor customization's to it, but cant wait for it to arrive. No more draggin on the hitch....or at least not on the same angles anymore.

@TacoBurrito07 I will be selling my FabFours bumper as soon as the BF one comes in. Since I have bought the BruteForce and its a sure thing, are you interested in buyin it? Ill give ya first dips before I post it for sale

What modifications did you make? What options did you get with it? I'm interested to hear your thoughts on everything because I may end up ordering one from there as well. I'd really like dual swingouts, one for fuel cans and one for the tire. Possibly with a small flip down table on each.

billy can do all that. I talked to him for an hour and half tonight, just BSing and seeing what all he could do. Awesome person and I will DEF look his way for future stuff. He's super easy to work with and will work with you to make sure you get what you want.

I asked him to shorten the sides by 2.5" to make for the 2.5" that I cut from the bedside. Modified the swing out carrier to be in the middle of the tailgate instead of off to the side, got a cb antenna mount added to the driver side corner by the taillight, and an adjustable mount for the tire carrier itself to change how high it sits, but he said hes done that on a couple others that asked for it and hes thinking about making that adjustable part standard so all of his bumpers will come that way since it seems more ppl are asking for it which is pretty cool, and added a tab to relocate the reverse camera so it will swing out with the carrier and still be usable when backing up. havnt used it in about 1.5 yrs so im excited to get that feature back haha

Also just asked him about making 2 holes cut out for a hi lift jack point b/w the shackles and the ends, waitin to hear back on that.

EDIT: the mods were easy things (or at least i think they are) to do, but he had absolutely no issues changing things up, and even gave me pointers on ideas so my ideas work even better. Its that stuff that I feel like you dont get very much of in the offroad community when it comes to buying things. he was full of ideas to help me fine tune exactly what I wanted.

I felt bad for taking up so much of his time and he didnt give it any thought, said he enjoyed talkin to people and helpin them make things their own. Def didnt expect a 1.5 hr conversation but he is so laid back and chill while being a professional. I was very impressed.
