Any LEOs correct me if I'm wrong, but a FCPD Sgt. & a LCSD Deputy has told me in the past that a CCW license is needed for any concealed weapon, not just a sidearm.

 

Training is the most important no matter what you have. Realistically it would probably be best to get a ccw and just really make sure she knows what she's doing.

Yep, but don't confuse the two. Pepper spray and true OC are actually much different things. Just think of OC as pepper spray times 100. To keep it simple.

 

Even then, sometimes you just get unlucky. I was robbed at gunpoint a block away from the 16th street mall. My handgun was concealed in my SOB, I was ambushed front & rear, two guys, was unable to draw, all they wanted was my backpack, not even contents of my pocket so I obliged and that was that..

Something plowed into my neighbors mailbox last night. Looking at the tracks in the grass they hopped the curb just behind my truck in the driveway. They would have been beyond dead if they hit my truck.

 

I think we're going up Saturday. Didn't know if you could only do Sunday.
