I have the same bar. The loop has been added on. The welds on mine are great.

Sir you have a booger hanging on your lightbar. I don't like machine welds on something that should be shown off.

Pretty much the reason why I downloaded it.

For those of you who have done the "Differential Breather"mod did you use teflon tape around the threads of the fitting before installation!?image.jpg

So looking to get these Bilstein 5100's and have some questions. Does anyone have them and like them? Ill find a picture of my truck and post it later (around 6pm) but will I sit the same or will I maybe sit a tad higher or lower (hopefully higher)? I am the third owner and original owner put the lift on it has blocks under the leaf springs and I believe the lift kit to be a ProComp but no way of telling forsure. Will the coils from the ProComp work with the 5100's and will they be decent or look at coils online as well? If I have to get new coils what weight ect. should I get? Trying to do this for cheap and make somewhat of an upgrade, truck has 135k I think and current shocks have somewhere around maybe 120k miles? Eventually I want something like the that is my end goal one day haha. Maybe closer down the road would be some OME Dakar leafs.

I would just go with the white plumber's tape, that's for water lines. The yellow is for gas line. :)

I used white tape, yellow should just be a hair thicker and still work perfectly

I've used the bilstein 5100's and they worked great when I had them. I have Icon and fox now and am much happier with them, so you'll love the upgrade when you get to it.
For now, the bilsteins will be much better than that pro comp kit that's on there.

IDK if the pro comp springs will work, I'm not sure what springs they use. If you want to replace the springs a lot of people go with OME 885 springs or Eibach springs and are happy. If you replace the springs with aftermarket you need to set the bilsteins to the 0 lift or stock height setting to run the 885s orthe 2nd clip (.85") setting for the eibach springs.

About what I had figured. The ProComp coils are probably fairly stiff. Will running at like 0 or .85 lower me from my current lift at all?

Hard to tell, idk how high you are with your current set up. From what I've read (who knows how accurate it is) but the 885 coils at 0" or the eibach coils at .85" are giving people 2.5"-3" of lift up front.

oh nice yeah ill have to take a picture when I get home from work. no pictures are allowed on site so i cant go out and snap one but i think like 2-3" im thinking around the 2ish side it doesnt seem very high in my opinion compared to other lifts I see.

Sounds like the new set up will be a hair taller than what you have and the ride will be much much better. Pull the trigger! You'll be happy you did.
