No worries... And I feel you... I'm not in it for the money either. It's just play money for me. I have an absolute blast getting the crowds rowdy.

Not just that, the visual display of the waveforms in the music makes it sooo much easier to beat match. the software is so incredibly robust, the features make live remixing, mashups, looping on the fly, etc possible. It totally reinvented the world of deejaying.

Ha, yal said what I wanted to say originally but was trying to be nice. but yea, to each his own.

and yes, serato = the best thing in the DJ'n world. I had Torq 1st and man did it ruin many shows. The next thing I need to purchase is the Pioneer mk1000s... have a bit of a problem with needle skipping at a few venues. the relative mode on serato has helped this, but you can still tell when it happens.

but good luck with yo shit agent, keep rockin the shows

Added a new venue for the next two Friday nights... in addition to The Getaway Lounge.

The Hideaway, located in Clinton, MD near Andrews Air Force Base... The place is a bit of a dive bar, but gets a large crowd late.

I'll be playing predominatly Hip-Hop from 9pm to 3am!!! No cover!

I'd hope that people attending your wedding would be there to support YOU and not the party - although the party is a huge part of how much fun people have.

We provide both DJ and Karaoke. When we host karaoke, we also provide DJ music between singers to keep the crowds going.

It all depends on the client and the crowd. Depending on the crowd, we sometimes end up playing mostly music - and some night we are overwhelmed with the number of singers and play very few songs between. And of course, some clients may only want DJ music, vice karaoke.

As far as VJ services, I have been working on incorporating videos into our gigs - however, it's not normally what we do at all venues. A lot has to do with gathering the videos for the songs... and the other part has to do with venue display device access itself.

We are not professional photographers by any means, but we do take candid pics at our gigs, at no cost, to provide to the client. Most clients really appreciate the extra shots. Of course, that isn't something we guarantee because we are often busy working the mixer.

Everything we do is tailored to what the client wants... bottom-line.

Most of what we play is Top 40. Some clients want Karaoke & DJ music and some want just DJ music... Some want only a specific genre playing, some may want a variation.

Yes, for some of our clients we have begun working to add music videos... However, at a wedding reception - we know that is probably not appropriate (unless the client specifically asks for it). The same goes with Trance/Techno/House... And of course, we DO have the capability to display any video montages or presentations as well...

We can do both Karaoke and DJ music at the same gig for the same price as we would quote for just DJ music... (I.E. - 1 DJ from my company can do both karaoke and DJ music). Makes no difference to us really (it's no less or no more work for us), rather - it is all about what the client wants for a particular event.
