i had 4x4 on my last truck for 4 years and a v6. i live in florida and literally didn't use the 4x4 once so i decided not to spend the money on something i don't use. its a work and surf truck so it just needs to haul tools and surfboards and a few friends around

You'd be better off just buying the V6.

Transfer case, two drive shafts, complete front IFS stuff, plus all the electronics to go with it...all at dealership prices...no thanks.

Practical, no. But say if you smashed up your truck pre '16 truck and you replaced it with a pre '16 prerunner. Buy back the old truck from the insurance company and start swapping parts over. You would have a one of a kind truck when hour done. Practical hell no.

I see people I know from time to time and that is the 1st thing they ask me, "Is your truck 4 wheel drive?" I tell them no and if the roads are bad I stay my butt in my little apartment. I have no need for 4X4 either. My truck is a dry street princess! :)

Your going to love that header. I'm running the same one on my 2TR and notice a improvement. I did a thread when I did it. I'll see if I can find it.

Has anyone lifted and/or put 33" tires on their 2.7?

I did that on a Silver SR I had in late December 2015. Talk about a power drain. Sucker had a hard time holding 55mph on the freeway. I had 285's and dropped down to 275's in the Toyot M/T. Big mistake. Got rid of the truck for other reasons and now have the TRD Sport.

    I wouldn't go bigger than a 17" rim and 265/70 in the C Load.

Cause the SR has 3.91 gears. When I upgrade to a 33" tire I'll be regarding probably to 4.56s with a air locker!
