I just bought my first brand new vehicle! It's a bone stock 2016 TRD sport 4x4. Ordered some husky x-act mats a few days ago, just got em put in! Fitment is 10/10 quality seems to be the tits. Highly recommend these bad boys.

@bohpoli Just be wary of going between Amarillo and Tucumcari on the 40 too late at night, the roads freeze and we've gotten stuck in a huge line behind a couple semis twice making that drive. Of course, we had trouble going East, maybe heading West you won't run into the same issue.

Were the clips the source of the squeaking. Mine sounds like choking geese are stuck in there. I know this is played out but see if mine in the video shares your sound. I am allegedly, according to an email from Corporate, getting a call from my dealer tomorrow to return mine for unresolved issues from 2 weeks ago at my 5k service. I do see wrench marks where they did add 1 qt of atf. Unfortunately there is still slipping/hesitating shift issue R to D and 1-2 then 2-3. It is better but not completely fixed. Were your frame mounts checked for wear or splitting or did removing the clips allegedly fix it. I came to the conclusion the mounts were split on mine. The noise is horrible and have not driven it in 5 days now. Real tired of hearing it. Mine was a 12/15 build from Texas.

For me, the drive through El Paso wasn't boring because I'd never been out west before, so it was all new. I actually thought the scenery was cool, especially going through the Franklin mountains into NM. But, the traffic in El Paso was absolute shit on the 10. And we also hit a ton of boarder control points. Most of El Paso when you drive through is Ft Bliss, so you get a mix of Army madness, boarder crosser traffic, and people passing through at the same time. It was a nightmare.

Still better than the Dallas interchange lol

Installed my oil catch can. A simple bracket, used the holes already there and that was that.

Just a question, I see this mod a lot here! What is the purpose of the mod, just curious does it matter on a 2wd vs 4wd and would it benefit with my 2wd!

Your 2wd will benefit as well. This is not a performance mod, it is a simple mod to keep the engine cleaner. Many post explaining how that works in this forum.

I heard that people have fit 265/70/17 down there, but I haven't seen any picks or anything. So if that is true 265/75/16 should fit too. I am about to have 265/70/17s put on my truck, and I am curious about the exact same thing you are!

I second the vote on I-40 once you are in the middle of the country. Rather than come all the way down to Dallas just to head back up to Armadillo on 287, pick up I-40 in Knoxville and stay on it until you reach Flagstaff.
