Sound Deadened (Stops noise through vibrations): Door skins, outer door skins, and door plastic panels. All four doors were covered with around 40% coverage. Also applied to rear panel, and underseat storage cavity. It is only necessary to apply to flat areas that are prone to resonance.

Mass Loaded Vinyl (Noise Blocker): Applied under each door panel, rear panel, and underseat storage.

Opted not to put back rear storage panels as there was much more storage space available without them. Now all my survival gear fits, including my Rush 12 Go Bag.

 

Installed these Focal 690Toy component set. These included two 6x9's, two 1.5 tweeters, and all necessary brackets and adapters (since they are made specifically for Toyotas).

 

Did you fill the tranny yourself or at the dealership?

 

At my local dealer. Had requested it before it even arrived. Kendall of Anchorage even let me discuss potential problems with the head shop guy.

Pictures from my 3,100mile College Alcan trip from Anchorage, Alaska to Boulder, Colorado. I will be doing this trip at least 7 more times, which is why I don't mind spending money on my adventure rig!

You can see the Pro Grille, Baja Yellow Fogs, ARE V series camper shell, Prinsu Toprac, CVT Mt.Bachelor Extended, and 265/75/16 Duratracs in use. Stay tuned for Bilstein 6112/5160 Lift!

 

Installed the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo with the Dakar Medium Leaf Pack!

Coilovers were set at the 5/4 height and install took around 10 hours while having no prior suspension experience. I used lowrangeoffroad's video for reference, and before you ask I do not have before and after measurements but guessing I gained around two inches with an inch rake in the rear. Don't have a lot of experience with the new suspension but cornering and nose dive upon braking is much improved. Snugtop rebel with windoors set to arrive next week!
