    Good Morning 50+!

Y'all know that I'm going the the Toyota Takeover at Rausch Creek at the end of this month.
I'm making final preparations. I'm gonna camp/sleep inside my Bestop Softtopper. It might get HOT inside. Any suggestions on a 12v fan I can acquire. Power is non-issue. I have aux 2nd battery with a cable leading to the bed.
    Thanks

It's been cooler than normal here in the Mojave desert region . Yesterday it was only 90 degrees and today's temp the same . This time of year is the start of the Monsoon season where we start seeing afternoon desert t storms

    Good morning all

Woke up at 4 this morning, couldn't sleep. Now at 6 and I need to get ready for work and I can't stay awake. Definitely a day I could use the hammock. I just need to force my LEGS to keep moving.

Stay cool Jim, at least try to!

A friend of mine put one in the roof of his RV and can't say enough good about it. Took his daughter on a trip to the SE last summer and said he hardly had to run his AC at night. If you could get it to work in a RTT would think that would be about perfect. I have an older coleman fan\light combo unit for my wall tent but nothing to write home about, I'm sure there are a lot better units out there. The only good thing is the magnetic mount you can move it around with the steel plate on the outside to place it right above you. That might be a bit tricky on a RTT though. I only camp in the fall or winter when hunting so usually am looking for heat. Getting the wood stove up in a RTT must be a little difficult!

But when you forget and leave the dog food inside or in the off road trailer and a bear comes sniffing and digging around or a pack of wolves bet a RTT must feel a lot safer than being in a tent on the ground.
