I did exactly the same thing. Redid it with the SPC logo facing the tire and presto...all good.

    Best. Thread. Ever.

Come on man, after the install , did you even think an alignment would have done anything? Obviously something was incorrectly installed!

Dude for real, that shit was not safe to drive on. If anyone encouraged you to do so they should be bitch slapped.

Glad you found out the problem, but don't fuck around with that shit.

What shop, a dealership? Make the shop take note notes on signed paperwork of their error and of possible future component and tire damage. So that they are held responsible for future related damage.

Got it so the SPC logo should be facing the tire wall.

OP you found all that is good with TW....hope it all works out for you. That's one reason I twist my own wrenches as much as it kills me to do it...good luck and I hope you get to enjoy your investment soon.

Sorry to see the trouble you are having and hope things work out.
I would have it towed. No way would I be driving that thing down a highway. This is where I'd find another shop to fix it even if I took a hit, though I'd would go after the first shop to foot the bill. I doubt I'd let the first shop touch it again if they gave you the slightest hard time.

    Good luck!

Edit: I looked at the pictures again and I'm not sure how any shop would let you drive away like that. Again, sorry you are going through this.

Oh yeah I'm not taking it to another shop. Doing stuff myself. I just moved, so I left my tools behind and these guys had good word on the street. They don't know anything about IFS apparently. What a joke! Thank you Tacoma World and all who chimed in to help. I really appreciate you guys.

I wouldn't say they don't know IFS. They don't know Light Racing UCAs, or their head from their ass since they let you drive away like that. Did you take them the instructions when you asked them to install?

They said they would pull them up online and print them from SPC. Oh and another thing they did was preload my 887 coils to .85! I know it's safe to do that and lots of people run that setting with ome coils, but they thought I got another pair of stock coils... Wtf lol. The tech I spoke to knew a ton of info and has a 2nd gen that's built. Apparently he was supposed to install, but he was working on another truck. I'm here now at the shop and they are going to fix the problem and offer me a refund. I even showed them this thread and all of your posts @Sandman614
