    Mr Marv box is Line-X'd and sub wired and installed. This is a general mock up of the LOC and amp. Nothing screwed in, still trying to figure out where the stock amp will go.

    As long as the + and - that are going to the amp are on different voicecoils then you are good. If the two are coming from the same voicecoil then it is wrong.

    Yeah and back of the seat. It would all fit behind the passenger side if you wanted to leave the driver side cubbies in tact...worked like that for me anyway with that same setup

    If you look at your crutchfield diagram you posted, one voice coil is the left +/- and the other voice coil is the right +/-. What 1sttruckguy78 is saying is, looking at the diagram, pull the + from the left voice coil and the - from the right voice coil. Or vice versa. In other words, you hook both voice coils + and - together on the woofer and connect one from each voice coil + and - so long as you don't connect both from the same voice coil to your amp.

    I hooked up VC1+ to VC2+ then 1- to 2-, then the wire to the amp is 1+ and 1-. You're saying to either wire the sub to amp like: 1+ and 2- or 1- and 2+ ?

    Nice install you have going on. Mine should be similar as I have the JBL system to deal with. When you get to it, if you haven't already, I would be interested in how you interface the LC6 to the JBL amp. Are we looking at cutting the plug from the speaker wires out from the amp?

    Seems like we have to splice into the stock amp speaker outs then wire that into the LOC speaker inputs. Haven't reached that point yet but I'll be sure to document it

    I don't envy you at all with the JBL system. You're going to have to relocate that stock amp somewhere as well. I'm guessing you should be able to mount it on the back of your amp rack right? As long as your amp rack is designed the same as mine is that should work. Have you been able to locate a wiring diagram?

    JBL system has to go if you upgrade the door speakers. Amp and all. Not a clean way around it.

    Where are you getting this information from? From my understanding that is incorrect. The factory amplifier has to stay in the truck in order for the signal to get to the loc. @Mr Marv has been installing aftermarket audio systems in tacomas for a long time and that's what he told me and @JasonT87.

    Ah... I replaced my deck too. That's prob the diff. So you have to keep the JBL amp just for a signal. Ouch. Glad I could get rid of it and free up the back for a real amp. :)
