If anyone here has had their dealer replace or repair their leaf springs and is willing to scan and email or Message me a high quality photo of the work order, it would be much appreciated.

Specifically I am asking for this from a Third Gen Tacoma. You can sanitize name, phone number and address but any info you're willing to provide me would help my case.

You can get details on my issue as well as a video if you click on this specific Post #108

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to assist.

I had the dealership replace my leafs on my 2016 SR at about 11,200 miles because of squeaking! They changed them for me with no questions asked!

Awesome would you be willing to scan and email me a redacted work order showing dealership info, service record number, what specific services were rendered and parts replaced etc? I can PM you my email if you're willing to help I would be most grateful.

If I have a couple, two or three of these, it will help my case because I can show them to corporate and the dealer as evidence that other dealerships did not simply tell other Tacoma owners to "pound sand"

Dakars are noisy too-- Have seen nothing too positive about them. Bottom line: I want the stock ride and I want it to drive and sound like it should.

Personally I think the dakars ride better than stock and I also have Firestone ride rite air bags sitting on top of my dakars!

I don't really want to lift it and use aftermarket stuff. I want to keep it stock. That's why I spent almost $40k on the TRD OR you know?

Toyota was going to replace my springs and add teflon spacers in 1995 when I had a Toyota for same issue before I just sold it.. Have they not learnt anything in 20 years ?

Mine aren't squeky yet... going to add an Icon AAL and take out the stock helper spring and new 5100's. After 10K my TRD Sport is riding a bit rough. My rear suspension is starting to bang around a bit, it's not a squeak but it's got a lot of other noises...

Mine sounds like there are parts loose - it's annoying but thankfully is doesn't do it every time I go over pot holes, only at speeds less than 20mph and then sometimes only.... It seems like my shocks are wearing out to me. Harsh riding where it wasn't like that until the last 1-2k miles, kinda like the bumps are not being absorbed .. get a nice bang and a rattle or 3 here and there. I get its a pick up truck but I kinda expected longer service out of the stock suspension, TBH.

If you modify the suspension just remember it likely will not be serviced under warranty. AAL would be a direct mod to the existing leafs. Gives toyota an easy out if anything ever goes wrong with your leafs. Now if you're ok with that carry on
