oh wow I bet. what we did at the park last night was walk around to hatch eggs and catch pokemon until someone dropped a lure on the 2 pokestops that were close to each other then spent 30mins at those pokestops to get items and pokemon. then back to walking once the lures wore off

no, incense is something only you can use and benefit from. if you come to a pokestop and there is pink stuff falling off of it, there is a lure on it. I haven't gotten one myself but I just reap the benefits when the pokestops have one going. they have 30min time limits on them.

I assume because it can evolve into 3 different elements?

All I want is an Abra so I can relive my childhood and work people with an Alakazam.

I was at the grocery store yesterday and some girl ran into my cart and I noticed she was playing. She was probably early twenties and was completely embarrassed. I had a hat on so I spun it around Ash Ketchum style and she wasn't embarrassed anymore.

My wife's office is close enough to a pokestop that she just sits at her desk and plays. The stop is a busy cafe so people are dropping lures on it all day. She hasn't walked a damn step and is level 10 already. I've been working my ass off to get level 6.

Well had to run some errands so at every stop I turned the game on to log some steps and hit any close poke stops. I now have over 50 balls again. Was gone for about 3 hours and my phone is at 17%...I only had the game on for maybe 30min in all of that...

@tacopaulo i think you said you were going downtown this weekend? This is at Cameron Village facing NCSU. You are going to dominate that area

    image.jpg

Oh, and I caught this dude sneaking scoops at Baskin Robbins. Only took 17 balls to catch him. He busted out of 8

So hold on...it's best to toss the PokeBall when the inner circle is as close to a match as the outer circle?

I've been trying to get the smallest circle possible and when for a walk with the kiddo and she's grabbing stuff left and right and tells me I'm supposed to match the circles.

What!? I didn't know this circle thing... I just throw balls lol

I wait for them to 'flex' (what I call their attack since they don't actually hurt me) and then toss it so they won't bat it away. I have noticed that when it says 'Nice' or 'Great' they seem to stick more than when it doesn't say anything about your throw

Yes, if you hold your finger on the pokeball, the circle will shrink and I believe it's the smaller the circle the better the chance
