I have a 10.5" pistol with a KAK flash can on the end. Throws all the noise downrange. No problem. I originally had a compensator on it and it was loud as hell and threw a heck of a flame..

I have a Aero Precision complete Enhanced M-Lok upper, love that thing. It's put together very well. Their M-Lok hand guard fits so well on the receiver it makes it look like a monolithic complete one piece upper..Freaken awesome!!

Just took some time inventory the safe. Figured this thread was a good spot to share a pic. One more rifle out of pic. Will share once build complete

I have a few more that I'm simply waiting to sell once the AR panic hits in November, they're just stock though.

Looking at getting either an AFG or hand stop for my SBR.
With the 7" barrel and 6(or 5?) inch hand guard it's very easy to want to grab too far forward and I need some type of index point and also a place to mount the tape switch for my TLR-1.

Not a fan of AFG's myself. I went with a Magpul hand-stop. I didn't use all of it though. You'll see in the pic that I placed the large part on the rail backward. I wrap my index finger around it and seems to work well for me. YMMV

Hey guys. I'm not new to guns but new to ARs. Got this from a friend for $700, he got it from a friend who build it I guess. Barrel is a Wylde, Trigger is a CMC from what I can tell, charging handle is Raptor? Don't know much about it other than that. Anything anyone else can tell about just by looking?

Looks to be a pretty good build, not bad for $700.

I'd throw a scope on it. Or a magnifier, since you ordered an aimpoint. Thing looks more tailored towards long range shooting

Yeah so thats one question I have, how can I make it a shortrange gun? What's the shortest barrel I can put on it? I feel like the front (stock?) is pretty heavy too. I have tons of long range guns already, hunting rifles.

To make it more apt for short range/lighter you would need to change the barrel length which would mean changing to the gas tube to midlength or carbine length, and changing the handguard. Shortest barrel length is 16". you can get a shorter barrel but the muzzle device has to be pinned and welded (double check me on that) and the length of muzzle device+barrel=16".

You're correct, unless he files a form 1 and pays the $200 tax stamp for a SBR.

Ok so on my 7" SBR the hand guard is a little short, I enjoy the short barrel length but I want a little more hand guard, thinking a noveske pig flash hider (Maker?) and a 2 or 3" longer hand guard.
