    Once you hit lvl 12 you start getting ultra balls. Razberry + ultra ball= guaranteed catch :)

    Yea I did the same...but at work. CP266 Dratini, one ball, poof runs away. Saw a Tauros too, but again, it ran after one ball. Caught like 24 Psyduck's though.

    I think the places with a higher population of Pokémon are normally based on which places have higher cell phone data usage. Which is why there's not many Pokémon out in the middle of nowhere but there's a ton of them in the middle of cities

    And here around Utk campus, there are hundreds of people playing everyday. Have a buddy that has not spent a penny on the game and he is level 27, lowest level Pokemon is 1200cp. Highest is close to 3k

    Gyms change hands every couple minutes here

    That's my guess too. I don't see how they can be this evolved without paying for stuff. It is summer though so kids could be out literally playing all day long since they aren't in school
